Randomness……

 IMG_2377

I went on vacation for a week and Jonathan attempted to grow a mustache while I was gone.

He’s here, and we love him.

Here’s some pictures after we just got home from the hospital.  My wife and I are feeling both wonderful and exhausted.  I know my wife hasn’t slept very much the last week, so I’m sure she must be going crazy inside- but she is being such an angel with everything.  I only wish I could stay home  and help out more. Watching 2 boys, especially when one isn’t sleeping at night, and having a husband gone at school and work is going to be really hard on my amazing wife.  My wife is the best, and this experience of having another boy has been incredible.  I’ll try to post more pictures soon when I have time, but I think I’ll let my wife give more of the details -if she wants to- since she’s obviously the one who did the work having the baby.  Oh, and thanks so much for everyone who’s helped us so far with watching Jackson, visiting us at the hospital and home, dropping off food, calling us on the phone, and just being there for us and letting us know you care.  We are very blessed with such a great family, friends, and of course a loving Heavenly Father who’s been watching over us and blessing us greatly.

Tree hugging hippies

IMG_1609IMG_1611

Have you ever noticed that Bellingham is chock full of tree hugging hippies.  My wife and I went to the park, and we saw

this crazy guy up in a tree, hugging it, it’s ludicrous.  I love the planet to, but why do you have to go around hugging it.

IMG_1636IMG_1617

As we approached he tried to hide behind a branch, but I yelled out and said, “hey hippy boy, what do you think your doing”.

IMG_1621IMG_1623

He looked back at me and yelled, “what am I doing? what are you doing? I saw you drive up on that gas guzzling

honda accord.  Don’t make me hop down and rearrange your face with my kung-fu fists.

I then said, “What ever monkey boy”.  However, that was a big mistake, because this is what happened next.

IMG_1516IMG_1514

The supposedly peaceful loving nature boy jumped down from the tree and growled at me.  I was terrified.

IMG_1513

He then chased after me over the rocks.

IMG_1518

I was able to hide behind a rock for a moment, as he searched for me.

IMG_1566

But then he spotted me and yelled, “your fast for a city boy, but I’ll get you yet”.

IMG_1540

He then jumped on me and poked me in the eye with a sharp stick.  I guess you can say I learned my lesson.

IMG_1527IMG_1542

After he beat me up we became close friends, he showed me all the fun things you do outside.

IMG_1547IMG_1548

And I showed him how fun it is to laugh at people…isn’t life beautiful.

IMG_1641

the end.

Hansel is so hot right now: if you haven’t seen zoolander this may not make sense.

IMG_1401

Probably the best advice I can give to those wanting to go into the world of modeling is to start out by going for the deep

contemplative looks… this is my “what is bark made out of?” look.

IMG_1405

Being a male model is so exhausting, even for those who are ridiculously good looking.

Now get ready for my secret weapon…blue steel.

Sting is a real hero of mine; the music that he’s created over the years, I don’t really listen to it, but the fact that he’s making

it, I respect that.

If you want to look natural, and trust me you do, then you need to interact naturally with your environment,

like smelling a beautiful bouquet of plastic flowers.
