Riding the Cascade Loop
It was funny Evan got out his tricycle, and lined it up right next to the other bikes. It’s hard to see him, but he’s at Rob’s left side.
We all met at April and Rob’s place. My Dad was borrowing Tracy’s Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 cc big boy bike. Well everyone else rode around in smaller and lighter bikes. Matt, who is at the very left of the picture, had a Yamaha Radian, Rob had a Yamaha classic, and I was riding on a Triumph Speedmaster.
Here’s Matt watering the plants off the side of a cliff.
One of our rest stops. These were actually bum rest stops.
Here’s Matt telling us a funny story.
Here’s a picture of us on the way back home, after leaving Leavenworth.
We all had an awesome time; highway 20 is beautiful. We stopped at Winthrop and ate some food. We then rode on till we got to Chelan, and stayed the night in a small hotel. At the hotel we went swimming for a while, and then walked around Chelan for a bit. The next day we had breakfast at the apple cup cafe which was right across the street from our motel- it was delicious. The ride out of Chelan was also very beautiful; we rode till we got to Leavenworth. There we had some ice cream, and walked around. We then rode on, till we got home. This was an amazing trip, it was fun to do something with just the guys. We’re definitely going to do this again next year. Hopefully with more people. David will be home off his mission by our next trip, and Lance should be out of school, so they should be able to come, along with whomever else we can scrounge up. I’m really wanting to take my wife on a similar trip, since she really likes to ride motorcycles. I never realized how fun a motorcycle could be. This is way more fun than just going to and from work.

OREGON COAST VACATION
WE RECENTLY TOOK A FAMILY VACATION DOWN THE OREGON COAST. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN PLAYING AT THE BEACH, WALKING AROUND THE LAKE, CAMPING IN A CABIN AND EATING LOTS OF GREAT FOOD. THE WEATHER WASN’T THE GREATEST BUT WE STILL TOOK ADVANTAGE OF BEING AT A GREAT BEACH. HERE ARE PICTURES FROM MY CAMERA….MORE TO COME FROM JONATHAN’S CAMERA AFTER HE EDITS AND CONVERTS THEM. JACKSON WAS IN HEAVEN THE WHOLE WEEK. ALL HE WANTED TO DO WAS DIG AND PLAY IN THE SAND. WE WILL DEFINATELY BE GOING BACK!
FIRST MOVIE
JACKSON WENT TO HIS FIRST MOVIE IN THE THEATRE. BEFORE WE WENT ON VACATION THE THREE OF US WENT AND SAW TOY STORY 3. MY OPINION…NOT AS GOOD AS THE FIRST TWO, AND A LITTLE SCARY FOR A TWO YEAR OLD. BUT WE LOVED THE POPCORN! BEST OF ALL THE THREE OF US SAW THE MOVIE, ALL HAD SMALL POPCORNS AND SHARED A LARGE DRINK AND IT ONLY COST US $7.
LET THE PLAYING BEGIN…
HERE ARE THE LAST PICTURES FROM OUR PLAYGROUND PROJECT. BOY ARE WE GLAD THIS IS DONE…THE KIDS HAVE HAD A TON OF FUN ALREADY PLAYING. I THINK MOST OF THE ADULTS HAVE EVEN TRIED OUT THE SWINGS A TIME OR TWO!

BACKYARD MAKEOVER PART 2
The building of the play set! Don’t ever let a project that has a specified number of hours it takes to do it fool you! This play set said it would take two adults 10-12 hours to build. What a joke…more like 20 hours and four capable adults. Thanks to all the many helpers who made this come together.
Part 3(a border around the play set) and Part 4(filled in with gravel and sand) are complete now, but we don’t have the pictures on the computer yet….coming soon! Jackson loves it.

Playtime with Evan
Jackson loves playing with all of his cousins. One of his favorite hang out places is Paden and Evan’s house (which is what he calls it). I think he loves all of their boy toys. The other day he got some good one on one time with Evan. It was so fun watching them play together.
Trampolines are great fun
We also went to the park and rode on bikes
food tastes better when your with the people you love
